Who is Dicko?

I'm Matt “Dicko” Dixon, I was born in Kingscote and grew up here on Kangaroo Island. ever since I was a child I've been fascinated by how things work, how they're built and how they're designed. Almost as soon as I could hold a screwdriver I started taking things apart, I wanted to see what was inside, to examine how things work, how they would fail and how to fix them.

All my life I've loved fixing things, building things and finding solutions to problems, whatever fields I've worked in I've always tried to provide a maintenance and repair role alongside my primary job, learning new skills and refining old ones every chance I could.

I have a natural ability to understand how things work and how they go together, I can visualise a project in detail before I even pick up a tool.

My skillset and experience is broad and covers a wide range of fields, I also welcome new challenges and opportunities to learn new skills.
